Proposal for Argrow’s House

This proposal seeks to help Argrow’s House create a coffeeshop inside their newly acquired multi-use space and retail shop. Our goal is to facilitate the creation of a meaningful coffeeshop space as a central a component of a more complex and multi-purpose retail facility.

The purpose of the coffeeshop is multiple:

  • To be a connection platform between the general public and Argrow’s House, working as an experiential piece of strategic communications.

  • A place of hospitality for visitors coming to learn about social enterprise.

  • To provide opportunities for workforce development for members of Argrow’s House.

Adjusted Process

We will help you design the Service Blueprint for your coffee business. A Service Blueprint details the customer’s journey and establishes all the equipment, processes, and interactions necessary to make sure your customers experience your intended message and core values.

We will begin with a visit to your location and will meet with your team and key stakeholders

Outcome:

Working with your AH project lead, our Studio will assist you with:

  • Planning the purchase and acquisition of equipment.

  • Advise in choosing a roaster/coffee supplier.

  • Helping you design your menu and offerings.

  • Helping identify supplier of Cost of Goods Sold.

  • Choose a PoS system.

Foundational Research

Our Studio will visit you and get to know your team, your proposed customer base, and your location.

Strategy Design Sprint

This three-day sprint aims to align and clarify the purpose of Argrow’s House coffee shop by bringing together all key stakeholders from the very beginning.

We will:

  • Collectively define the narrative that Argrow's House wants to convey through the coffee shop. This unified story will be central to guiding all subsequent decisions related to the social enterprise, including branding, sourcing, staff hiring, and management.

  • Define the coffee shop's branding voice, core values, and the roles and responsibilities throughout the coffee shop's lifecycle—from pre-opening to early operations.

  • The planning and execution of this strategy design sprint will be facilitated by our Studio.

Permits and Licensing

Our Studio will assist your project lead with advising on the technical aspects of local health permits and licensing for the coffeeshop

The Coffee Business

Working with your AH project lead, our Studio will assist you with:

  • The purchase and acquisition of equipment.

  • Choosing a roaster/coffee supplier.

  • Designing your menu and offerings.

  • Identifying supplier of Cost of Goods Sold.

  • Choose a PoS system.
